Dry Land Training
Dry land training begins in early-to-mid September every year. Athletes from age 8 years and up have the option of participating in this fun and strenuous pre-season conditioning program.
Dry land training is led by alpine coaching staff, and runs 3 times per week until on-snow training can begin. Times: Saturdays (1000 to 1200 hours), Tuesdays ( 1830 to 2000 hours), and Thursdays (1830 to 2000 hours). Note: because of darkness, dry land times on Tuesdays and Thursdays changes to 1800 to 1930 hours in mid-October.
Location: early season – Edmonton Ski Club unless otherwise announced; late season – Commonwealth Fitness Center unless otherwise announced.
